Go Green Europe team visit green businesses in South Denmark
The city of Espberg has started to attract “environmental tourists” coming to hear about the many positive environmental actions the companies in Esbjerg are involved in. Miljønetværk Syd, , the Environmental Network in South Denmark, hosted the two day study visit which included a delegation of environmental thinkers, local authority members, and practitioners from London, Zaragoza and Palermo.
The city of Esbjerg and Denmark as a whole, was chosen by the network for its cascade of good practice and environmental initiatives taking place within the municipality. In the environmental arena, Denmark is unique due to the good dialogue between businesses and the environmental authorities.

Delegates were also treated to a number of presentations by industry prfessionals, local authority and network members, including a lecture on how to involve young people in the environmental debate by a member of the Danish Scouts.
