About Go Green Europe

Managed by GLE Consulting, Go Green Europe is a collaborative development between the London borough of Wandsworth, the Centre of European Studies and Initiatives (Palermo, Italy), The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Zaragoza (Spain) and South Denmark European Office.

The partnership aims to share knowledge and experience of successful approaches to supporting SMEs to identify and implement green business measures. Go Green Europe will focus on how SMEs can be encouraged to invest time and resources in environmental efficiency improvement measures.

Go Green Europe will share existing experience between the four partner areas (South West London, Zaragoza, South Denmark, Sicily); research and exchange information on national good practices and demonstration projects in the UK, Spain, Denmark and Italy; and disseminate lessons about successful approaches to green business support via national dissemination activity and a high profile transnational conference.

The partners collectively work with or represent over 1,500 SMEs across four countries. Each also works with a wide range of other social partners and partnerships between public, not for profit and private sectors in their own regions.

Our work is supported by the European Community Programme for Employment and Social Solidarity (2007-13). Through sharing resources and information, we hope to build on the successes of green businesses in our regions.
